Travel Vaccinations

Please complete your travel plans either online below or by calling in to the surgery to complete a form.  Holiday vaccinations will be advised upon by the Practice Nurse usually within 48 hours of completion, with the exception of busy periods.  It is the patients responsibility to contact the surgery to find out what is recommended. Some non-NHS vaccinations will be charged for.

It is important to make the initial appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel, some vaccinations require more than one dose to provide adequate protection so second or third appointments may be required with the practice nurse. Non NHS vaccines will be issued via private prescription and additional charges may be applicable.

Family Planning

Advice is available from the doctors or practice nurses. Dr Adams fits coils by prior arrangement.

Pregnant?

If you think you are pregnant please contact Wythenshawe Hospital in the first instance on 0161 291 2942.  Patients will be seen within 11 weeks of self referral and have their first scan at 11 - 14 weeks.

Weekly ante-natal clinics are by appointment with the Midwife – the midwives also run a drop-in clinic on Tuesdays 2.00 – 3.00pm at The Lakes Clinic, Mainwood Rd, Timperley.

6-Week Baby checks

This is done by one of our GP's at the end of their morning clinic. These appointments are arranged for you by our reception staff. If you would like to book your own appointment or rearrange the appointment you have been allocated please just ring the Practice to do so.

Non-NHS Services

The practice will provide some non-NHS certificates, forms and examinations. Please note that any private medical work can take up to two weeks to complete. Charges will be explained beforehand.
