The Government has confirmed:

  • Patients can access details of their Covid-19 vaccination through the NHS App (NOT the NHS COVID-19 app)
  • Patients without access to a smartphone, and know that the country they are travelling to requires COVID-19 vaccination status, can call the NHS helpline on 119 (from 17 May) and ask for a letter to be posted to them. This must be at least five days after they’ve completed their course of the vaccine. It’s expected the letter to take up to five days to reach them

Do not contact your GP surgery about your COVID-19 vaccination status. GPs cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 vaccination status
