We are pleased to announce the team at Altrincham Medical Practice completed the fundraising run/walk at Sale Water Park on 14th December 2025 in support of Epilepsy Action despite the pouring rain and associated mud!
Sr Laura Edwards took the lead completing the course in a magnificent 35 mins closely followed by the others plus furry friends. Taking in Chorlton Water Park and the River Mersey the 11km trail finished back at Sale Water Park. This is the fourth year the event has been held and includes 2 other trails – a half marathon and a full marathon.
We have been thrilled by the response on our just giving page so far – blasting thorough our target, we appreciate it’s a busy time of year but all donations, regardless of size, are sincerely appreciated and will directly support those living with epilepsy.
Epilepsy Action plays a vital role in providing information, advice, and support to individuals and families affected by epilepsy throughout the UK. Having witnessed the positive difference their work makes; a colleague’s young son was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, we are proud to contribute to their ongoing efforts.
