Emergency Care Practitioner

Ian Hignett has recently joined the practice.

Ian is a paramedic who worked as a first responder with North West Ambulance Service from 2007-2019. Following a period of working with Cheshire Police in the custody suites & also for LFC youth teams, he started working in primary care at Northwich, based in a variety of GP surgeries.

Ian does on the day face to face appointments for new medical, physical and mental health presentations as well as doing home visits for housebound patients and care home ward rounds.
He works at Altrincham Medical Practice on Monday & Tuesday full days, and Wednesday until 1:30pm. He is based at Park Medical Practice in Timperley for the rest of the week.
Ian lives on Congleton with his wife, two daughters, the dog and 2 guinea pigs
